Mosaic Art Jewelry by June Martin

I'm a big Mark Rothko fan as well as a fan of abstract expressionism. These earrings are a humble nod to Rothko. Moroccan tile mosaic comprised of vibrant orange circles, celery green triangles, and black/brown ovals, all center around a spinach green square. The bezels are brass with a thick sterling silver overlay and are handmade by artisans in Mexico.

Because I care about my customers who have metal sensitivities, instead of using sterling, or (gasp!) plated ear wires, I upgrade by hand-forging my own ear wires from Argentium® Silver which does not contain copper, has a higher silver content than sterling, and is hypoallergenic. Argentium® Silver is also tarnish resistant. .

-Approximately 1" long and 3/4" wide at the widest point (not including ear wires or bail)
