Mosaic Art Jewelry by June Martin

These teardrop earrings were named after the Moroccan city of Fez, which remains the most important production center in Morocco for the art of zellij (traditional mosaic tilework). These teardrop earrings feature long gray oval Moroccan tiles as well as red crescent and teardrop tiles. A round black tile sits at the top of the earrings, and deep purple Italian filati glass dots create contrast and an unexpected pop. Set into a custom light grey background.

Materials & Measurements
• Moroccan ceramic tiles

• Italian filati glass
• Artisan brass frames with sterling silver overlay
• Hand forged hypo-allergenic Argentium® Silver ear wires
• Approximately 1 1/4 inch long and 3/4" wide at the widest point (not including ear wires or bail)

We care about our customers who have metal sensitivities, so instead of using sterling, or plated ear wires, we upgrade by hand-forging ear wires from Argentium® Silver which does not contain copper, has a higher silver content than sterling, and is hypoallergenic. Argentium® Silver is also tarnish resistant.
